I purchased my first pair of Doyoky controllers for my son’s Nintendo Switch when he started getting “stick drift” with the original Switch controllers. The Doyokys, with Hall Effect, are a great improvement over the OEM controllers that came with the Switch. Unfortunately, my son dropped his controller in the grocery store (don’t ask) and the left doyoky controller separated into two from where it was connected with the Switch. I had insurance and purchased another pair. Literally a day later, another accident and the same thing happened. My insurance plan had expired and so we decided to go with a different brand, the JC200s, which is a one piece unit that the Switch slides into like a docking station. The Dyokys are great, but we needed something a little more sturdy.

I have absolutely fallen in love with these controllers. The vibration is powerful. The sticks are super responsive. All the buttons have a unique clicky sound. The colored lights are vibrant and pretty. Honestly my only reservations I have are that they wiggle a bit on the tablet (but once I'm immersed in my games I don't notice) and the lights and vibration setting reset every time the system turns off. Truly these are small gripes while the performance of the controllers is what's most important and I am VERY impressed 👍 (This sentence is to help prove this review is authentic)

My controller is excellent for the price. Input lag isn't noticeable, sticks feel fine, all the primary features are good. The other extra features is where it gets problematic. Maybe it's just my unit, but the rumble motors whine whenever they're in operation, pretty obnoxiously to the point where I can't use rumble at all without straining my ears. The RGB is pretty bright and it takes a few button presses to get them to turn off, and for some reason the controllers entirely turn off for a few seconds? They also don't seem to remember my previous settings, so I have to turn off the RGB and rumble over and over. These cost less than Nintendo's official product by about $10-15, and for the extra features it has I think it's a fair deal. However, DOYOKY may need to spend more time on their Quality Control.
